The 29-year-old from Kilfeacle, Co Tipperary, left hubbie Charles at home and went racing with sister-in-law, Triona.
Hannah's monochrome outfit with quirky, peek-a-boo hat by top Galway milliner Edel Ramberg quickly caught the judges' attention.
Her big investment in this racing outfit was a cream, trumpet-sleeved top by Paper Moon of London from Gallery 9. There was plenty of style on show at the Co Kildare racetrack yesterday. But it was the Tipperary woman who claimed the prize of a €2,600 Raymond Weil watch.
"It was my sister-in-law who introduced me to Ladies' Day at the races and I find them very sociable, everyone is so friendly," said Hannah, who is originally from beside Horse and Jockey in Co Tipperary.
The day produced lots of classic winter racing looks with faux fur-trimmed collars and full-skirted coats with deep velvet trims.
The other four finalists displayed inventiveness and an eye for bargains. The style squad came out between the seven races to meet the fashion judges and the line-up included myself, Glenda Gilson, Jennifer Stevens and Anna Fortune.
